Roger Marolt is a fourth-generation Aspenite in an accomplished skiing family. He has been a columnist for The Aspen Times and the Aspen Daily News for two decades, during which he won 22 Colorado Press Association awards. He received a 2023 Lowell Thomas Bronze Award for his article “Aspen Has Been Overrun by Zillionaires. Has the Town Lost Its Gonzo Soul?” in Outside.
