Is it the will of God for believers to prosper financially or is that just what American preachers say to get rich off of Christians?
Some have wrongly believed that poverty can be godly and the Lord could use it to keep His children humble and dependent on Him. However, this contradicts His nature and Deuteronomy 28 lists poverty as a curse. There are also multiple stories in scripture that highlight God's provision.
Understand through God's word that it is not His will for Christians to lack, but to prosper as they follow Him and His commands (Psalm 1:1-3, Joshua 1:8)
