Kirk Reflections 15th March 2026.
Revd. Erick du Toit brings this week's reflection from Kirkliston Parish Church, Scotland.
SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS
He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!” (John 9: 25)
Sight is important. We all know that. Especially when it comes to our Spiritual Sight.
Jesus is so clever in the way he used the restoration of physical sight to enlighten people about the need to see spiritually. Spiritual blindness can lead to a limited understanding of God’s goodness and grace.
Throughout the Scriptures we are instructed to see the unseen… and make that the focus of our attention. This is the path we chose the day we gave ourselves wholly to the Lord in becoming his followers.
Question is: are you willing to see?
