Is it easier to trust the Lord when times are good or when times are bad? For Jesus’ disciples, they trusted him when they had heard his teaching and the seas were calm, but they lost that trust when the seas threatened their lives, even though Jesus himself was sleeping right there in their boat. When times are tough or uncertain, when times are filled with fear or worry, life can seem so much like a storm. We feel like we’ve lost our way and that we have no reason for hope. We’re quick to forget where Jesus is. But have no fear! Through God’s Word, God comforts us and gives us peace. How? Jesus is here…for us…always!
