In this episode, the sisters are introduced to magic school--a training academy for young witches--after a student unleashes the Headless Horseman who starts attacking teachers; meanwhile, the sisters are each dealing with their own internal battles (Piper wanting Wyatt to have balance between a normal childhood and his destiny; Phoebe hearing the ticking of her biological clock post breakup with Jason; and Paige worrying about Richard being off on some magical "freakout"), and Chris is worried about running out of time to save Wyatt.
