it's now much a cat and mouse type of game
every exchange is strange
and my blood boils over for days
i just can't help feeling lame

AND I TRY, BUT I SWEAR FOR NOW I'M OVER IT
UNTIL THE FACE COMES IN SIGHT I REMEMBER
THIS WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE NOVEMBER

and i dwell and feel like a creep
i'm having troubles going to sleep
her face reminds me of all the failures past
and all i hear is those beautiful girls laugh
