101.7 WFNX was an independently-owned alternative rock radio station in Boston from 1983-2012. Chris "Charlie" Padgett hosted The Sandbox morning show on WFNX from 2007-2010. While working at rival station WAAF, Jack would listen to Chris' show while screening phone calls for their morning drive competitor. Chris shares stories about The Sandbox and WFNX, including his "epiphany moment" following an in-studio visit by actor and comedian Jeff Garlin.
