Melba Duncan says the value of an EA or Administrative Assistant is managing things your boss doesn't even know you're doing. But if they don't know you're doing these things then how can you be valued for them and how can you be paid and promoted for doing them. My advice is to get clear on what those things are, those things that make up the part of your iceberg that is below the surface and use this knowledge to create your brand value statement and build out your case for making sure you get that next pay rise!
