The Chat Podcast originates from a radio program of the same name on Your Gospel Station WYGS in Columbus, Indiana. The Chat is an informal conversation between host Nita Evans and area women who are avid followers of Jesus Christ. These women are strong in their faith, active in their study of God's Word, and are of various ages, races, and backgrounds. The Chat is an outreach program to help Christian women apply God's principles to their daily lives. All listeners seeking a closer walk with Jesus will be encouraged and challenged.

The host, Nita Evans, is a Christian marriage and family counselor, national speaker, police chaplain, author, and religion columnist for The Republic newspaper in Columbus.
