Welcome Back to Nuanced Beauty!
INTERVIEW EPISODE
I thought with New Years resolutions now a month behind us, and potentially in the rear view mirror for many folks (and with MANY of us having goals in health and fitness), Jennifer would be a great guest to share her insights on her health journey and how she's found some peace at a healthy weight. But also, how important it is to NOT make the healthy weight the end goal, but really a starting point to continue forward. What does it look like to reframe your perspective around eating?
Jennifer and I sat down to talk all about the nuance of where we are at in our health journeys. Jennifer lost 40 pounds during the pandemic when she tried a program called Optavia. And since then, she has kept the weight off. She felt so passionately about the way this program changed her mindset around food and health that she went on to become a coach with Optavia. Jennifer brings so many great points to the table today and I am sure you will leave encouraged.
Join us today as we explore the idea that diets don't work and are not sustainable, without ALSO addressing our mindset and habits along the way.
Her book recommendations:
1. The Habits of Health by Dr. Wayne Scott Andersen
2. Atomic Habits by James Clear
