Rachael Krouse has been one of my close friends for the last thirteen years and we have seen each other through multiple seasons. Graduating high school, navigating college, stepping into adulthood and starting our families – we have met many versions of ourselves. In this conversation, we talk candidly about Rachael's recovery from addiction. As someone in active recovery, as well as a mental health professional, Rachael speaks to misconceptions about addiction and what the best form of support for a loved one in recovery looks like as she shares her own story.
