With the long-awaited sequel, “Way of the Water,” hitting theaters in December, Disney has released an upscaled version of the 2009 mega-blockbuster “Avatar” back into theaters. Naturally, as the two foremost Avatar apologists in the world, we went to see it and came back to the podcast to give our thoughts on why we think this movie was as successful as it was, why it still holds up and we answer the question so many seem to have, “Why does anyone care about this movie?” Before that we have a VERY short news segment before we discuss the sci-fi epic brought to us by the legendary James Cameron.
