On January 18th, 2015, a young woman known only by the name Emily Doe attended a frat party at the Stanford University Campus with her younger sister. She would wake up hours later on a hospital gurney with no recollection of how she ended up there or why. Hospital staff and detectives informed her that she had been sexually assaulted, but she was certain they must’ve had her confused with someone else. When Emily made her way to the restroom, and went to pull down the hospital issued sweatpants she was wearing, she discovered her underwear was missing. It was then she knew something terrible had indeed happened to her. This episode is going to be a departure from our usual episode styles.
