The awe of God is that He wastes nothing, and at times it can seem that God watches us through the hard times to see how we will make out. This is probably a very sound truth, because the hard places that we survive not only tell us something of soundness about ourselves, but about the nature of God. Hard times and things are necessary, we don't like them, but I promise you that if you look back on a hard time-season-place- or person that you have now been delivered from, the process could not have been done any differently.
