I was searching for myself and found Him instead. On my 7 year journey of self-discovery, the questions "What is my purpose" and "What the heck am I doing with my life," were constantly circulating my mind.
In that relentless quest to know, I ended up learning so much more about God than I'd expected. Most notably, the fact that I could not begin to understand my purpose without first understanding the one who gave it to me.
I hope you come back for more on this...
Is marriage the new idol in the church?
In this powerful conversation, I'm joined by my dear friend Andrea "Rocky" Nguyen, a former background dancer with 2 DUI's struggling to find her way, who gave her life to the Lord (repentance, celibacy, and a renewed perspective), and is now a happily married wife and mother advocating for discipleship in the church.
Together, we explore the subtle ways that believers (aka Christians) can honor the covenant of marriage without exalting it to the point of idolatry (just like money), and invite listeners to laugh with us as we unpack the nuances surrounding this topic.

In this premiere episode of the 6:24 Podcast, Miss Ruby goes in depth about one of the most concerning quandaries plaguing the church today: The battle between serving God and Money.
Matthew 6:24 states that "no one can serve....both God and money" and while many believers know this, living it out on a day to day basis would suggest otherwise.
Subscribe for various bits of wisdom, story times, and interviews with other Christian's alike, and prepare to have much of what you thought you understood about God, money, freedom, and love all challenged and resolved at the same time.
God. Money. Freedom. Love. When service to money can sometimes look like service to God, (working hard to put food on the table for the kids God gave you, holding on to your tithe to pay rent for the house He blessed you with, etc..), you can mistakingly end up enslaved by the rat race of this world, confused about God's goodness and possibly abandoning the gift of your salvation as a result. That is NOT the outcome I wish for anyone, and that's what this podcast will help us all to resolve in our similarly unique situations. Let's dive deep! Subscribe, and come back weekly.
