When death confronts us in this life, where do we turn? Where do we go to find peace and security? Do we look within to the memories of days gone by? Do we look to friends or family? Or do we look to God’s Word? When death confronts people in our lives, what greater love can we show in that moment than to share that Word that brings peace and comfort in this reality—Jesus has conquered death. Life and immortality await us with him in the glories of heaven.

The Bible reading for this message is Mark 5:21-24a, 35-43.
