Today on Live Life in Motion, I talk with Amber Michels. Amber began her business, The Peace of Mind Project, over six years ago with one thing in mind: to support moms when they needed it most.

Due to Amber’s own struggle with PPD (Postpartum Depression) as a new mom, she was determined to ensure that other moms unlike her were heard and supported, allowing them to be the best versions of themselves during the most important journey: motherhood.

The Peace of Mind Project is a service-based business. It offers everything from Postpartum Empowerment Coaching to assisting families in finding their dream Nanny.  Amber looks forward to partnering with local OB’s and Pediatricians again, and teaching classes for both expectant and new moms.

Her “momtra” is and always has been: community over competition. Whether it’s with other moms or woman business owners, one thing is always true: there is nothing more powerful than moms who genuinely and fiercely support one another.
