In this episode I wanted to dive into why it's not so simple to tell you what kind of shoes you should be wearing. Everyone's foot is different and while barefoot shoes should be the goal, not everyone is ready for them. There needs to be a progression and if your foot is not ready for it, barefoot shoes can be quite a shock to your feet and can create a slew of problems up your kinetic chain (into your knees, hips, back, shoulders, etc.
That being said, there are things you can do to support the health of your feet and eventually be able to wear barefoot shoes. Tune into this episode to learn more about what to look for in a shoe, why modern shoes are not helping you, and what you can do to strengthen and improve the health and function of your feet.
