In this episode I share how we can be refuge/friends to others. Coming together and uniting as children of God doesn't need to be difficult. It's seeing each as a child of a loving Heavenly Father. We all need comfort and support. I hope we all can be on the giving and receiving end. :)

Doctrine and Covenants 115: 5-6

5. Verily I say unto you all: Arise and shine forth, that thy light may be a standard for the nations;

6. And that the gathering together upon the land of Zion, and upon her stakes, may be for a defense, and for a refuge from the storm, and from wrath when it shall be poured out without mixture upon the whole earth.

Reading these verses with my family, I shared how as members of our family and ward that we can comfort and help others take refuge or gather together with us from their personal storms.

We can be like the Savior, Jesus Christ and care for others or take them under our wing. We can be a support and friend to them.
