Pepper is a three-piece reggae-rock band originally from Kona, Hawaii, consisting of vocalist/guitarist Kaleo Wassman, vocalist/bassist Bret Bollinger, and drummer Yesod Williams. They discuss what it was like to carry the torch left by Sublime and continue to light the way for so many other musicians. They discuss how Pepper's album Kona Town, celebrating its 20th anniversary, may never have happened without a little help from some friends and the ability to keep working when nobody was watching. Yesod talks about the early days playing to empty crowds on Warped Tour, to starting their own record label (LAW Records), to now being known and respected by everyone who comes through the scene.
