There are seasons where we are being tested for promotion from God. We discussed this more in the Embracing God in our Summer Season where we are being purged and purified for the purpose of becoming even more like Him. When we don't recognize these tests, we risk repeating the test. This opens us up to stagnation, delays, and detours along with repeated disappointments! God doesn't want this for us.
