St. Patrick’s Day! Shawn has been trying to connect with Zan better so he has been reading a history book called The Godfather. Shawn wants to know who the local Don is. Zan says it is his grandpa. Zan tells a story about his grandpa and mining. His grandpa was in a mine cave in and heard a bunch of grown men die. So he decided to move to Utah because the Catholic Church was big there. Zan tells a couple of Godfather related stories about his grandpa and his family. Zan calls the Irish a fowl breed. Zan’s grandpa’s brother went down to Las Vegas during the Great Depression. He made it big down there. He smoked a $50 bill in front of Zan’s grandpa and said “I am smoking a $50 bill and you can’t even afford to feed your family.” Zan’s ancestors also made moonshine during prohibition and ran it to Las Vegas. Shawn says that Zan’s Italian family doesn’t seem to be as strong anymore. Shawn thinks that the mafia is really cool. Zan asks Shawn if he has any good Irish storys. Shawn had an ancenstor that got drunk and shot a judge. Shawn also had an ancestor that put his head out of his horse and buggy and popped his head off. Zan tells an allegid story about Ted Kennedy.
