#64: Max Gomez of Breathwrk | The Power of Breathing

Max Gomez was in therapy when he thought of the idea for Breathwrk, an app that helps users to harness the power of their breath to achieve both relaxed and activated states. Max graduated from USC in Neuroscience and serves as Breathwrk’s co-founder and CEO. He often struggled with anxiety, but found that after working on his breathing he was able to greatly reduce the stress he often felt, which led him to start his company. Max shares some interesting information about the effects mouth breathing vs nose breathing can have on your health and even facial bone structure, and then how breathing can be one of the most powerful tools for pain management.
