This week we are getting into Operation Paperclip, the secret government operation responsible for bringing more than 1,600 German scientists, engineers, and technicians, to America for U.S. government employment. Is there such a thing as a good Nazi? Do these scientists bear any responsibility in the war crimes of Nazi Germany? Was the U.S. in turn responsible for getting several Nazi leaders absolved of their horrific crimes? Most notably Wernher Von Braun himself who is often regarded as the father of the United States space program.
