This week’s episode features Public Service Broadcasting’s mastermind, J.Willgoose, Esq. Their latest album Bright magic entered the UK charts at no. 2 in October 2021 - a fantastic achievement for an album that is far from mainstream pop. 

Seb and Verity chat to Willgoose about his inspiration for the album, moving to Berlin and going back to record there in the world famous Hansa Tonstudio, where iconic records such as Achtung Baby and Bowie’s Low and Heroes were recorded.

They discuss early musical experiences - descant recorder features heavily, buying new toys, side projects and J.Willgoose’s feelings on recording with Seb....
