65. What's the value ladder?

Yesterday we discussed that having a strong backend is crucial for any business.

Having a strong backend can literally a whole business, but how do you do this?

There's a concept that I learned some time ago, is called the value ladder.

This simply is kind of different "levels" your customers are in.

You cannot make an $10,000 offer to a complete stranger and expect him to buy.

That is simply not realistic.

But what if you offered that same stranger something for free?

And after that you make a $50 offer, and after that a $500 offer, and after that a $7,000 offer and so on...

That is exactly what the value ladder allows you to do.

Having one allows you to get people into your sales process with not much resistance. That way you earn people's trust, then start making offers, each one more valuable than the previous offer.

And that's how you can offer your most expensive products and make sales.
