It's supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year. But you're not feeling that. Maybe that's because it's your first holiday season after losing a loved one. Perhaps being around your extended family makes you want to hit your head against the wall. Or maybe you have expectations of whimsy and magic when your reality is credit card debt and cranky kids.

I have dread this holiday season because I'm smack dab in the middle of getting a divorce. I'm trying to be thankful while I grieve the loss of my former life.
