This week's episode hits very close to home as The Doc takes us through his son's recent illness and the harrowing string of events that occurred as a team of doctors on two coasts tried to figure the cause and treatment.  It also brought up the inevitable crossroad of being a doctor and parent and how The Doc had to navigate those two roles, sometimes realizing he needed to let the doctors do their job when his most important role was as dad and husband.
