Dr. Pamela Downe is a Professor in Archaeology & Anthropology at the University of Saskatchewan since 1994, served as Department Head from 2010-2015, and is the former President of CASCA - the Canadian Anthropology Society.

Her primary focus of research is Medical Anthropology with expertise in community-based engagement, infectious disease research, and maternal health.
