A former YouTube personality & comedian, Taryn is passionate about the intersection of emerging technology, storytelling, and human potential. With more than 750 million views across her online videos, she has had a longstanding fascination with internet culture & influence.
Her directorial debut, I AM HUMAN, a documentary following three humans with brain computer interfaces, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in the spring of 2019.
But reality hit hard when shortly after her movie premiere, she found out that she had stage 3 breast cancer.
She took a year off work, and credits a balance between pragmatism and humor, along with the support of her friends and community, for getting through those rough times.
