66. First Down by CoachTools: Trent Earley
Earley begins his second season at VSU after spending two season at Colorado Mesa University for now-VSU head coach Tremaine Jackson. Earley helped lead CMU to a 10-3 record in two seasons. Prior to CMU, Earley served as defensive analyst at the University of South Florida in 2019, after joining the staff as the defensive graduate assistant working with the defensive line in 2017.
On Episode 66 of First Down, Justin and Coach Trent Earley had a discussion about Coach Earley's coaching career and his advice for aspiring coaches. Coach Earley shared his journey to becoming an assistant head coach at Valdosta State in Southern Georgia and emphasized the importance of finding roles that make oneself invaluable to the organization.
