Jason Pilgrim is the vocalist for New Orleans grindcore band Flesh Parade. They recently embarked on a national tour that kicked off at Poor Boys as part of a thirty band, two day event called Mardi Grind. Along the way, they will meet up and perform with Exhorder and Eyehategod, and from there possibly extend the tour up through Canada and overseas. In part 1, we discuss his beginnings in music and initial influences and end with his quest to do something different with Flesh Parade that no one has ever done before. The band is also celebrating THIRTY FIVE YEARS in existence!
