Some organisations are truly revolutionary in their approach to accessibility and helping to make the world a more rewarding place for individuals with visual impairments. The Living Paintings charity is one such company which strives to make reading a more enjoyable experience by creating wonderfully tactile books which are accompanied by beautifully read audio narration. 

In this week’s episode of Talking in the Dark Evie speaks with the head of communications and marketing for the Living Paintings charity, Nick Ford 

In this conversation Evie learns from Nick all about the incredible work the charity does providing very special picture books for people that have visual impairment. During this interview Nick also shares about how the charity was first formed, the deep impact the books have on the lives of those that engage with them, and the great pride the charity felt in making the King’s Coronation more accessible for blind and visually impaired people.
