Evan Metz is not your average real estate developer. 

He's been on an incredible journey- physically (across the US), mentally (into the depths of his ego), and financially (having lost a huge deal recently).  Now, he's got a grand vision for a type of space he's creating that I, personally, believe is the future of hospitality.

It's an outdoor beer garden, food hall, art gallery, event space, and semi-private public space- Alberi, in the Springfield district of Jacksonville.

This is akin to what the Wynwood Yard was in Miami- a project that completely transformed their area of Wynwood before getting torn down by the type of real estate developers Evan is not.
