In today's episode, I talk about approval and how it can harm us, or how it harmed me. My goalpost in life was through praise.

If I did enough, if I made sure everyone else was taken care of, or if I upset someone I would then do whatever it took to make them happy. Even if it was at my expense and I didn't do anything wrong.

Are you trying too hard to make everyone else happy, to make everyone else ok with who you are or what you do, are you giving all of yourself away and stepping away from who you are at your core so you won't upset anyone and tip the apple cart?

It is a reminder of what really matters and how to go towards doing the work that's important to you, no matter what anyone else says or thinks about it...because if it's important to you...then it has to be done.
