One of the things I am planning to enjoy this summer and autumn is “balcony life”. Our home has a balcony connected to the living room, and although it's not particularly spacious, it's enough to accommodate two chairs for relaxation.

It has been eight years since we moved into this apartment, but I feel like I haven't been making the most of it. So, I gradually started taking better care of the balcony by cleaning it regularly, and I’ve found that each time I clean it, it looks a little better than it did before. I’m also making an effort to keep the windows clean.

I’ve found that the cleaner the balcony becomes, the more I fall in love with it! I wanted comfortable chairs to relax in, so I started looking for them. I didn't want to leave them outside all the time because they would get dirty, so I was looking for something that was easy to move, lightweight, durable, easy to clean, and of course, within my budget.

I found the perfect solution at Nitori. They’re called “butterfly chairs”, and they checked all the boxes. Just sitting on this chair outside and enjoying a cup of coffee makes me feel incredibly happy. It's spacious enough for my dog Shushu and I to sit together comfortably.

The power of nature is amazing. Just being able to spend time outdoors while I’m at home really lifts my spirits. Maybe I should also get some outdoor lighting to enhance the atmosphere.

I realized that even a small balcony can be transformed into a delightful space with a little effort. Now I'm looking forward to spending my summer and autumn enjoying “balcony life” to the fullest!
