¿Cómo Abraham o David llegaron a ser conocidos como amigos de Dios?

Jesús les dejó a sus seguidores un mandamiento: "Éste es mi mandamiento: Que se amen unos a otros, como yo los he amado. "
Y para mostrarles la importancia de esto, les dijo que así sería la forma para llegar a ser amigo de Jesús.
El les dio el ejemplo dando su vida por nosotros. Debemos de seguir su ejemplo y cumplir su mandamiento.
