Qaf, Kaf, or Caf In Moslem-Arabic mythology, the mountain range, made of emerald, that encircles the world outside the ring of ocean. It is the abode of the jinn and other supernatural creatures. The term is also generic for mountains, as Alps is in English, but specifically is applied to the Caucasus range.
