There is power, presence, and peace found in allowing. Allowing means allowing others to be as they are. Not trying to change them. Not trying to control them. Not being frustrated that they are how they are. The practice of allowing starts with allowing yourself to be. Stopping the war against self, and allowing yourself to exist exactly as you are in each moment. Not wishing you were different. Not wishing you felt different. But instead allowing exactly as you are to be, to move, to change, to shift. Allowing means freeing yourself from the illusion of control. Allowing means freeing yourself from all the internal friction that is caused by resistance to what is.
