May in Mental Health Awareness Month and here at Self-Created we are huge advocates of therapy (of all types) and habits/routines that encourage you to leave your best, healthy life.

  • Seek Professional Health
    • Check with your job and see if they have EAP
    • See what your insurance covers
    • End the stigma (brag about therapy the same way you brag about your workout)]
    • It’s ok to shop around for a Therapist. It’s not one size fits all
    • Have a Routine
    • Write it out (Journal Planner)
    • Meditate
    • Exercise
    • Drink Water
    • Eat Right
    • Be mindful of your thoughts (joking or not)
      • Ripple Effect: The thoughts and words you put out into the world and others can have an ongoing effect
