This week Meagan recaps her first mule deer hunt as part of an all-ladies trip to the West Texas mountains. This hunt was a unique offering by the Adult Learn to Hunt Program with Texas Wildlife Association, and it was one of the most memorable experiences she has ever been part of.

Hunting and fishing are more than just killing and sport. It’s family, friends, and being outside. It’s enjoying the quiet and getting to seeing what’s out there. It’s experiencing wild places and testing yourself against nature. We were born to explore, hunt, and gather. These are our adventures in the outdoors!
