Dr. William Barber was the commencement speaker at Pastor Michael’s recent graduation from the seminary connected to Drew University. Dr. Barber is the president of the North Carolina NAACP and he has risen as an important voice for progressive Christianity in recent years. Pastor Michael talks about hearing Dr. Barber's call for us to be “moral defibrillators who… choose non-violent methods to shock the heart and soul of this nation.”
