As I found myself back in a depressive spiral, I began working through it with the tools and knowledge I've accumulated over the last ten years.
What normally would have lasted weeks if not months was instead an episode of depression that lasted about a day in total. It's taken me awhile to be able to learn how to turn things around this quickly, and so although your results may not at first be the same (you're a unique person - honor yourself and what is happening for you and works for you), you CAN absolutely begin to shift things and find relief.
Be open to knowing you are worthy and deserving of feeling better, and that better can begin right now. And remember that what is better or improved for you is highly personal to you. Let go of the external noise, tune into yourself, and let's talk through this together. You are not alone in your struggle. I'm working through this with you, right here in this moment. I go into why many of us experience depression, what steps I take to pull myself out, what was specifically causing my depressive episode this time, and how this works into an overall bigger healing I'm working on.
This bigger healing involves taking an honest look about how much support I receive, who I have surrounded myself with (and how they often do they opposite of support me), how I'm learning to find my true, authentic self, and why real change can feel so hard.
