Kayleigh grew up the oldest of 3 children. Her parents moved from Texas to Oregon when Kayleigh was in 6th grade. After graduating she started communicating with Chris a young man from her youth who she thought was pretty special. They fell in love. After a couple years of marriage they decided to start their family. After 9 years the hopes of having a baby began to diminish. They decided to look into adoption after talking to one her Kayleigh's kindergarten students parents who had shared their journey of infertility and adoption.
