This week on The Book Drop we share our recommendations for books by Native, First Nations and Indigenous Authors for the latest 2021 OPL Reading Challenge category. We also work out our potential pen names for query of the week.

Check out the OPL events calendar for these upcoming events:

• Friends of Omaha Public Library Book Sales every Thursday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., except holidays. 
• Reading Challenge Book Club is every 2nd Tuesday 12-1pm  and 3rd Thursday 6-7pm
• Monthly OPL Board of Trustees Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 5 PM at different library locations unless otherwise noted. Next one is Thursday, November 18, 2021, 5pm – 6pm at Bess Johnson Elkhorn Branch.
