The topic of this week's episode was inspired by one of our listeners who brought up the topic of talking with our kids about diversity, equity and inclusion on the heels of the progress flag being flown at her child's elementary school.

In this episode we address how to answer when young kids ask questions we may not be prepared to answer yet,, or we know they are not mature enough to handle the entire truth about.

We also talk about the meaning of inclusion as it pertains to inclusion of values and opinions we disagree with, what is our role as a democratic society when we raise out kids according to our values and we prepare them for the fact that other people hold opposing values.
