Episode 698 - Gilbert Burns is a First Class Father and UFC Fighter.  Gilbert will be fighting Jorge Masvidal in the co-main event of UFC 287 in Miami, Florida.  Gilbert is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist and submission grappler. As a grappler, Gilbert is a three-time World Champion and World Cup gold medalist.  Gilbert currently competes in the Welterweight division for the UFC.

In this Episode, Gilbert shares his Fatherhood journey which includes two sons. He discusses his upcoming in a rough section of Brazil and how jiu-jitsu became an outlet for him.  He describes the difficult path he and his wife Bruna took to come to the United States and some of the struggles they faced as young parents while Gilbert’s fight career was still just beginning.  He talks about his faith and the importance of leading by example for his children.  He breaks down his upcoming fight with Masvidal in UFC 287 and who he would like to fight next.  He offers some great advice for new or soon-to-be dads and more!
