It's "Pep Band Friday," and the 6th grade band learned the theme of Jaws as a fun sight-reading activity. We worked on half notes, quarter notes, eighth notes, and learned how to trill!  

We also recorded a part of one of our Winter Concert Pieces: Gettysburg.  It depicts the sounds of the famous Civil War Battle. This is still a work in progress, but the students have worked very hard so far!
