Covid has significantly changed the landscape.  Consumers buy more goods from big providers that can deliver quickly and have a pricing advantage over smaller companies.

But as a small business, you do have one major, albeit often overlooked, advantage – your size.  You see, people want to support small businesses.

The 2022 Gallup Confidence in Institutions Survey found that 68% of Americans have a “great deal” or “quite a lot” confidence in small business.

So, you need to trumpet your worth – to your customers and to your community.

While you do want to generally keep the focus on the customer, bring the fact that you’re a small business into focus to distinguish what you can do better than large competitors.

Talk about your contributions to the community.
