Today on Truth in the Morning, Homer Blow and Dame Ellzey discuss the potential closing of Water Street's club Elmnt Night Lounge after their license was revoked earlier year due to violence OUTSIDE of the venue. They talk about the hypocrisy surrounding the closure in comparison to predominantly white establishments, like recently closed Victors. They question if this fair treatment as this keeps happening to place where Milwaukee's black community congregates. Later, the city is once again sourcing it's city budget deficit from it's black community. This time it is in the form of parking tickets. With the lack of transportation due to to MTCS strikes, the hop closure and a history of increased ticketing in black neighborhoods the question remains: is this the best solution?
